The notion of bringing easy to obtain church safety to the small and medium church arena was the brainchild of founder Paul Lake (pictured left). As a former police officer and currently as the head of church safety for a medium sized church in the Dallas area, Paul saw a growing need for this church profile with very little help available.

While specific "security" needs are being addressed by some, very few are addressing the total "safety" concept. It is true that the "active shooter" is a critical issue that needs to be addressed, the more common occurrences are medical emergencies and weather events.

It is incumbent on every church regardless of size to take necessary precautions to protect the safety of those who entrust their care to that church every week. Those precautions include not only a safety plan in place but a safety plan that is regularly trained.

Sentry One has developed a Church Safety Starter Kit which addresses all of these elements of the church safety program. It is an easy to use kit which includes a step by step instruction manual and all the forms needed in easy to modify Word documents. In addition, we are available to conduct full day regional seminars to help break down the normal barriers to the church safety issue and provide clear guidance on how to start a church safety program.
